The unreached Menja of SW Ethiopia have traditionally been hunter-gatherers, but now the forests are being cut down and they are in a livelihood crisis. There is now a thriving congregation among the Menja, and the PFF is supporting the church to give them a new livelihood focus--bee-keeping. They are being taught how to nurture colonies in modern box-hives. The first training was a big success--27 families were trained and given modern boxes, and bee colonies have already moved in. Several entrepreneurial fellows listened in on the training and have now built their own boxes with the director's help! We join local church leaders in thanking you "for your effort to help Menja to become aware of their place in the Kingdom of God, and do the purpose they were created for. Eternal life, peace, equality and justice are some of things the Menjas are finding in the church."
