Or give on-line at our secure web site, www.PFF.net, using your Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express card. PFF takes no percentage of your gift for administrative fees.

The amounts below represent sample figures to help you promote these projects.  Gifts will be used by the project workers based on their priorities as the funds are received.

Ethiopia

The Menja are a despised, hunter-gatherer people group in SW Ethiopia who are flocking to follow Jesus. Their forests are being cut down for agriculture and the local church wants to help them find other cottage industries to replace their hunting food sources.

$500 will buy bee-keeping gear for ten families

$500 will buy modern bee hives for ten families

$1,000 will buy honey extractors for two communities

$1,500 will pay for one community training event

$1,500 will provide six months of the co-op coordinator's salary

A fast-growing church planting movement in the Dawro and Ameya areas of SW Ethiopia counts on support from Presbyterians to continue their evangelism work and supplement the training of lay leaders for the new preaching points and congregations.

$500 will support one evangelist for a year (the local church matches the funds)

$500 will pay for one lay leadership training event (there are no pastors for these churches; lay people provide the leadership for worship, discipleship and pastoral care)

$1,000 will provide a grant to the local Bible school, where lay leaders can get further theological training

$1,000 will provide scholarships for three lay leaders to attend the local Bible school for further training

$1,500 will provide transport and expenses for church leaders to visit every evangelist for support, training and encouragement next year

Sudan

For the displaced camps in Darfur.

$50 buys 1 sack of beans

$70 buys 1 sack of wheat

$80 buys 1 sack of dried milk

$700 provides transportation for one evangelist to travel to and from Darfur and distribute food and Bibles. (2 – 4 people go each month)

For the schools:

$400/month or $4,800 per year provides teacher/evangelist salary

$732 provides books for 100 students for one school year.

India

The Bihar Out-Reach Network (BORN) is training evangelists as grass roots church planters.

$500 will provide the training for one person. There are 20 single men and women waiting for support.
